M-Pact Group FAQS

An M-Pact Group is an on or off campus group made up of 10-16 people who meet weekly to share, study and support one another. A trained leader and host lead each group.

You can attend any on campus Sunday Morning M-Pact Group at any time throughout the year.  These groups meet at 9:00 AM on Sundays.  You can sign up for these groups two ways, online or by calling the church office at 770-775-7958.

Off campus M-Pact Groups meet for 8-10 week quarters in the Fall, Winter and Spring. Before each M-Pact Group quarter begins there are two ways to sign up for a group – online or by calling the church office at 770-775-7958.

All of our groups have a description designed to give you an idea of the leaders and the feel of the group. Read these bios for a fuller picture of each group to help you decide on one for you.

Each class has a location and meeting time listed.  There are on campus groups that meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00AM and there are also off campus groups that meet at various locations throughout the community on different dates and times.

Joining an M-Pact Group requires an 8-10 week commitment to attend weekly meetings and do the homework ahead of time.  This commitment is the key to a strong M-Pact Group. If you sign up for a group and decide it’s not a good fit for you, let us know in the first three weeks and we’d love to help you find another one!

There is a variety of Bible study literature that is used in our on campus groups, where as our off campus groups mainly focus on the previous weekend’s message. These “sermon-based” M-Pact Groups are built on what we call a “Lecture-Lab” model.  Imagine the weekend message as a lecture on Christian living, and the M-Pact Group as a lab where you get to roll up your sleeves and discuss how the weekend’s message works in real life. Each week there will be a series of Bible passages and questions on the back of the sermon note sheet to study before the meeting. It will usually take 20 to 40 minutes per week to complete the homework.

For our Sunday Morning on campus classes, childcare will be provided.  During this time, children will be able to attend an M-Pact group designed especially for their age.  Childcare for newborns – 4 year olds is in the preschool hallway.  Our Kindergarten-2nd grade children meet in Room 104 and children  in 3rd-5th grades meet in Room 102.

Off campus M-Pact Groups are for adults. (Exceptions can be made for nursing newborns, up to six months.) We leave it up to each family to work out their own childcare.

M-Pact Kidz FAQS

The Bible is the most amazing book ever written, and we strive to bring its stories to life through creative activities and discussions that keep kids engaged. We want every child to love God’s Word and understand the value of applying it to their lives. We know they’ll have fun as they learn about who God is through games, activities, small groups, and video teaching.

Absolutely! Our environments and lessons are designed to help your child grow with kids in the same age group. We’re passionate about supporting them in each stage of life.

As you hang out with us more and more at Macedonia your child will be surrounded by a small group full of familiar faces. As kids build relationships with leaders and other children, they gain the support and confidence to grow in their faith.

On your first visit, look for the M-Pact Kidz registration area. If you can’t find it, one of our pastors or volunteers will be happy to help you!

At the registration area, you’ll be welcomed by a M-Pact Kidz volunteer eager to meet your family and show you how M-Pact Kidz works. To check your child in, we’ll need some information at that time, including a family member’s name, your child’s name and birthday, your address, your phone number, and any special instructions. We’ll be there every step of the way, right up to when you drop your kids off, so feel free to ask questions!

At Macedonia, safety is one of our highest priorities. That’s why we have a secure check-in process at M-Pact Kidz. Upon check-in, you’ll receive matching identification stickers. Your child will need to wear their name tag sticker and you will need to keep the matching tag. After the service, you’ll show the M-pact Kidz leader your matching tag in order for your child to be released.

Every M-pact Kidz volunteer leader is screened and participates in a background check. Additionally, our hallways are monitored by background-checked security during each experience to make sure your child stays safe and secure.

In the event that we need to contact you during the event, we will either send you a text message or call you if the matter is more important.
